COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 3,1995 PSA#1402Commander, U.S. Army Missile Command, Acquisition Center, Redstone
Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 66 -- SIGNAL GENERATOR DUE 081095 POC Contact Dennis A. Buckmeir,
Electronic Engineer, (205) 842-8785 or FAX (205) 955-8816. The U.S.
Army Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Activity (USATA)
is responsible for a TMDE Modernization Program (TEMOD) directed toward
acquiring state-of-the-art, non-developmental electronic test
equipment. The new equipment will be used to standardize the inventory
and replace existing obsolete test equipment. A draft specification
has been developed for a Signal Generator, with a frequency range of
100 Khz to 2 Ghz. The signal generator will be required to transmit AM,
FM, PM, and Phase Modulation. It must be bus controllable and have an
internal frequency standard. A questionnaire will be developed to
assist the Government in defining the final specification by providing
information about the technical capabilities of available
non-developmental signal generators. No decision has been made at this
time as to the type of procurement, i.e., full and open competition
versus small business set-aside. Interested contractors may request a
draft specification and questionnaire by contacting Dennis A. Buckmeir,
USATA, (205) 842-8785 or FAX (205) 955-8816. Required response date is
