The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish and dispose of the existing 61 dock levelers, and the associated dock bumpers. Prepare the existing leveler pits and dock edge wall to receive the new levelers and bumpers. Install same size dock levelers and install new dock bumpers. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $130,000, with a construction completion date of 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. On-site contact is Mr. Don Love, Manager, Maintenance (913/573-2561). Site visitation is not mandatory but encouraged.
