SOL 520-36-95 DUE 091595 POC Contact Point, Ben Kotulski, (601)385-5790 Furnish all Labor, Materials and Equipment necessary to refurbish and repaint a 250,000 gallon elevated water tank. Renovation work includes interior and exterior surface preparation for repainting of the tank's exterior with a 3-part acrylic polyurethane system, with a total dry film thickness of 6 to 9-mils and the recoating of the tank's interior with a 2-coat epoxy system. Other exterior areas of the tank to receive surface preparation and painting includes the catwalk floor railing, riser pipes, legs, wind rods, sway rods, turnbuckles and struts. Replacement work includes a new exterior dome ladder, stainless steel climbing cable, new float system/cables, exterior dome vent and screen. Repair work includes steel plate welding of approximately 400 sq. ft., pit welding in the tank's interior will be required of one (1) pit weld per every 4-sq. ft. of tank interior. Electrical work includes removal of existing motor control center, electric panel and switches in adjacent pump house and replacement with new float controlled pump switches.
