J -- RENEWAL OF MAINTENANCE SUPPORT/SERVICE OF PROPRIETARY HARDWARE/ SOFTWARE POC POC: Debra Maschino, Contract Specialist (703) 607-6914 or Contracting Officer, Mark Bogart, (703) 607-6920 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate with EMC Corporation, Hopkinton, MA for maintenance renewal of the following proprietary hardware/software items: M293F4C1 full service for 293-F4; MEU20C1 full service for EU-20; EVFB1 software service for EVF; EB100UB1 software service for EB100U; EB25UB1 software service for EB25U; EB1UB1 software service for EB1. All software is proprietary to EMC Corporation and EMC has confirmed that there are no third-party vendors who are authorized to maintain their hardware. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Responses must be received within 15 days from the date of this publication. Responses must include authorization/certification from the original equipment manufacturer to perform maintenance. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Interested sources may respond by written request furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating their ability to furnish the Government's requirement, including technical and pricing data.
