U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for the maintenance and logistic
services of the Coast Guard's C-20B (Gulfstream III) aircraft to
include powerplant, avionics, electrical, hydraulics, and structural
repair. The requirement is for worldwide scheduled and unscheduled
drop-in depot level maintenance actions to be performed in accordance
with current and future Gulfstream Aerospace, Rolls-Royce Spey engine,
subsystem maintenance, and FAA maintenance procedures and requirements
and airworthiness directives. Additionally, component overhaul/repair
and the acquisition of spare parts necessary to complete the contracted
repairs may be required. The Coast Guard anticipates award of a
contract with Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material Contract line
items. The period of performance will be a base year and four option
years. The airframe will be painted in the final contract option year.
It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on
or about August 28, 1995, and the RFP closing date is anticipated on
or about September 28, 1995. Your request for a copy of the
solicitation must be received in writing within 30 calendar days from
the date of the publication of this notice. Address responses to:

other notice will be published until award is made. The place of
performance is unknown. Wage Determinations have been requested for the
following areas: Wilmington, DE; Millville, NJ; S. Hackensack, NJ; St.
Louis, MO; Peachtree City, GA; Willoughby, OH; Battlecreek, MI;
Savannah, GA; Bridgeport, WV; and Waterford, MI. The Contracting
Officer will request wage determinations for additional possible places
of performance if asked to do so in writing within 15 calendar days
from the date of issuance of the solicitation. For Minority, Women and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises only: The DOT has a bonding
assistance program available which enables firms to obtain bid,
payment, and performance bonds, with a guarantee up to 80 percent
against losses. The short-terms loan program provides working capital
at the prime interest rate. This solicitation is available in both hard
