Peterson, Ph:(202) 267-2525 The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for the maintenance and logistic services of the Coast Guard's C-20B (Gulfstream III) aircraft to include powerplant, avionics, electrical, hydraulics, and structural repair. The requirement is for worldwide scheduled and unscheduled drop-in depot level maintenance actions to be performed in accordance with current and future Gulfstream Aerospace, Rolls-Royce Spey engine, subsystem maintenance, and FAA maintenance procedures and requirements and airworthiness directives. Additionally, component overhaul/repair and the acquisition of spare parts necessary to complete the contracted repairs may be required. The Coast Guard anticipates award of a contract with Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material Contract line items. The period of performance will be a base year and four option years. The airframe will be painted in the final contract option year. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about August 28, 1995, and the RFP closing date is anticipated on or about September 28, 1995.
