The National Park Service, Fort Clatsop National Memorial, Warrenton, Oregon has a requirement to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to demolish an existing park maintenance building (1320 s.f.) built in 1963. Demolition includes removing wood frame structure, and existing walls, containing cement asbestos board and a small underground fuel tank. New construction includes approximately 4,000 s.f. of wood frame single story construction with a composition shingle roof, using existing concrete slab with several equipment bays and offices for staff. Additional activities include general sitework, and a parking area for 12 vehicles. The project will be located in the area of the demolished facility at Warrenton, Oregon. The Standard Industrial Code is 1541, ``General Building, Non Residential Buildings''. The size standard is $17.0M. The proposed solicitation will be issued in accordance with Public Law 100-656 (Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program). The proposed solicitation is open to both Small and Large Businesses. A Firm-Fixed Price, single Construction Contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The Estimated Price Range is Between $250,000 and $500,000.
