This Pre-invitation Notice is to advise interested contractors that this office is advertising the following project: The project consists of furnishing manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to expand the existing dock by approximately 4,500 square feet at the Cedar Rapid, IA postal facility in accordance with plans and specifications. The work consists of, but not limited to, construction of a dock and enclosures, paving replacement, storm water management, electrical systems extension, lead paint abatement, and asbestos removal. Construction duration will be 150 calendar days, but no work can be performed and all docks must be accessible for the U. S. Postal Service use from November 20, 1995 through January 1, 1996. This time will not be considered as part of the 150 calendar days. Issue date for the above project is July 31, 1995. Return date for the above project is August 31, 1995. Performance Time is 150 days. Estimated Cost Range is $250,000 to $350,000. The cost of the plans and specifications for the above project is $50 per set. This charge is non-refundable.
