The project consists of the rehabilitation of the Tennessee River Bridge, John Coffee Memorial Bridge, including bridge deck patching, expansion joint replacement, fiber reinforced concrete deck overlay, clean and paint bridge rail, and other work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Removal of Concrete, 130 square meters; Structural Concrete For Bridge Deck (Fibered Reinforced Concrete), 550 square meters; Structural Steel, 5,600 kilograms; Bridge Expansion Joints, 150 meters; Clean and Paint Bridge Rail, LPSM; Lighting Systems, LPSM. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $750,000 to $1,250,000 and has a construction completion date of September 30, 1996.
