Products covered (HS or CCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in additon, where applicable): Motor assisted walking aids. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document: Establishment of Type Authorization System for Motor-Assisted Walking Aids (available in Japanese, 1 page). 6. Description of content: A manufacturer or seller of motor-assisted walking aids can get the authorization by the National Public Safety Commission that they comply with the standards under the Prime Minister's Office Order. 7. Objective and rationale: Assistance of consumer's judgement and facilitation of type authorization system for motor-assisted walking aids. 8.
