D -- AUTOMATIC DATA PROCESSING AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS SOL FCXA-TZ-950003-N DUE 081495 POC Dorothy worsham, 703-305-6693, Sue mciver, Contracting Officer, 703-305-7119 Correction: The description for this action originally publicized in the CBD dated 7/24/95 is revised to incorporate language inadvertently omitted. Please NOTE revised submission date below. The General Services administrationgsa) is considering the possibility of consolidating three Unisys a seriescomputers, now located at two sites, into one location. The decision to consolidate is being withheld until sources can be identified which can provide adequate disaster recovery support. GSA currently has a disaster recovery contract which provides backup capabilities to any of the individual systems, but not all three concurrently. In the event of a disaster, all software, including the Master control program (mcp) and related systems software, applications software, and data files are brought to the disaster site and thenloaded. Therefore, under the consolidated scenario, each of the three systems must have its own backup system. The three systems consist of the following: ANA16-62E, with 240 MB memory, 102 GB disk storage, 14 cartridge tape drives, and 2 gcr tape drives; an a16-62E, with 240 MB memory, 28 GB disk storage, 4 cartridge tape drives, and 2 gcr tape drives; and an a11-422, with 120 mbmemory, 23 GB disk storage, 6 cartridge tape drives, and 2 gcr tape drives. GSA is soliciting potential sources which can accommodate disaster recovery for itsa series systems. Vendors should submit a detailed description of theirsystems, their Commercial price lists, contact points and addresses, NO later than 11:00 a.M., local time, August 14, 1995.(0209)
