J -- REPAIR AND/OR REPLACE PERSONNEL DOORS AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE SOL DAKF40-95-R-0020 DUE 080195 POC Contract Specialist Karen Gallagher, Ext. 222 (910) 396-4362 (Site Code DAKF40) The U.S. Army has a requirement for repair and/or replacement of personnel doors and associated hardware at Fort Bragg; Army-maintained facilities at Pope Air Force Base, Camp MacKall; and Rowe Training Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina during the period 1 January 1996 through 31 December 1996. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to complete the service. The proposed requirement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested parties should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all small business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) assigned to this acquisition is 7699. To be considered a small business under this code, receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $5.0 million. Due to automation of the Bidder's Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is, therefore, required that all requests for solicitation packages include the vendor's business size, complete company name, address and telephone number.
