12 -- 12--AQUEOUS FILM-FORMING FOAM (AFFF) FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM SOL EMV-95-B-0365 POC Deborah Thompson, 540/542-2687 The proposed procurement is for the purchase of selected components of an in-line balanced pressure proportioning aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) fire protection system. The contractor shall provide installation shop drawings, material lists, and system components. The Government shall purchase piping, fittings, conduit, conductors, etc. and shall install and test the system. The system shall be suitable for protection from hydrocarbon fuel oil spill fires, soot fires, or class ''B'' fires. The system shall distribute an AFFF solution by means of a concentrate pump. The system shall operate automatically. The equipment will be shipped to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Mount Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 22012, in the county of Loudoun. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. There will NOT be a Prebid Conference or Site Visit. The period of performance will be 120 calendar days from receipt of Notice of Award.
