Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies required for the modification of a portion of Building 37, of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of downtown Chicago). Work will include, but is not limited to modifying the location from an existing warehousing facility to a Consolidated Mail-Out Pharmacy (CMOP). Work will include filling in existing dock areas, construction of new offices, the furnishing and installation of new HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after August 21, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, Accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for September 6, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for September 21, 1995, at 1:30pm local time. Estimated cost range is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. SIC= 1542 $17ml. Award is subject to a 90 day acceptance period. Award will be pending availability of funds.
