Renovate bathrooms in 62 military family housing units. The work to be performed includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following features: DEMOLITION - ALL UNITS: the removal and off site disposal of: tubs, water closets, lavatories, countertops, base cabinets and medicine cabinets; ceramic tile on walls and floors; window sills; exhaust fans and lights. DEMOLITION - SELECT UNITS: the removal and off site disposal of linen closet doors, door frames and related trim. Shower units. NEW CONSTRUCTION - ALL UNITS: Install new: tubs, water closets, lavatories, countertops, base cabinets and medicine cabinets; ceramic tile on walls and floors; window sills; exhaust fans and lights; paint on ceilings, wood trim and window sills. NEW CONSTRUCTION - SELECT UNITS: install new linen closet doors, door frames and related trim; shower units. UNFORSEEN CONDITIONS - ALL UNITS: During performance of the work, notify the Contracting Officer immediately of all uncovered items that appear to be damaged and/or may effect the quality of new work being performed, including: framing members, plaster and gypsum finishes, plumbing systems, electrical wiring. Upon authorization from the Contracting Officer remove/replace/repair the items in question. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. There is a non-refundable charge of $20.00 for each solicitation package. Make checks, money order or bank drafts payable to Accounting and Finance. NO CASH ACCEPTED. Only written requests will be accepted. The request and check, money order or bank draft must bear the solicitation number. This is an unrestricted acquisition.
