The University of California, Los Alamos National Laboratory, operates the Los Alamos Airport under contract with the Department of Energy. Continuation of scheduled air carrier passenger services from the Los Alamos Airport to connecting airports such as Albuquerque, Denver, and/or Phoenix is desired on an entrepreneurial basis beginning on or after October 1, 1995. Interested carriers should be certified as a Domestic or Commuter Air Carrier and have interline baggage and ticketing agreements in place with the major domestic airlines. Selected carrier(s) may utilize some terminal and ramp spaces at the Los Alamos Airport on a year-to-year rental agreement with the Laboratory's support services subcontractor.
