Hurlburt Field FL intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Roadtec, Inc. for the repair/overhaul of a Roadtec RX-60 Milling machine. This procurement is being exercised under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304(C)(i). This acquisition is approved for a sole source action. Roadtec is the original manufacturer of this machine and the only known source that can supply the parts and expertise necessary to make repairs/overhaul that will return the machine back to 100 percent serviceable condition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. Firms responding to this synopsis should reference the solicitation number and indicate whether or not they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-2 and whether they are a manufacturer or dealer/distributor.
