Standards & Technology (NIST), Electricity Division has a requirement
for a Video Signal Generator (VSG). The VSG is to be inclusive of all
software necessary for operation. The generator will be utilized in
research on various types of video information displays, therefore it
must provide video dot clock frequencies up to 440 MHz or greater and
horizontal scan frequencies up to 330 kHz or greater; both RS-232 and
GPIB interface for remote operation; independent setting of video dot
clock frequency; provide full 256 color and 256 gray scale output at
all video dot clock frequencies; capability to program patterns;
storage with minimum 320 patterns easily accessible from the front
panel; generate all patterns at all frequencies accessible as default,
fixed patterns; capability for motion patterns; analog 50 ohm and 75
ohm outputs for all RGB and sync outputs; three (3) year parts and
labor warranty. Delivery is FOB Gaithersburg, MD within 30 days after
award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
