Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to Repair/Upgrde Central Steam Plant Bldg 734. The specific work to be performed includes repair/update of boiler controls plus additional improvements such as: demolition, cast in place concrete, steel doors and frames, painting, acoustical treatment, special purpose metal building systems, and mechanical and electrical work. Also provide a new pre-fabricated OIV control room. All work to be performed at McChord AFB, Washington. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance is 336 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is expected to issue on or about 11 Aug 95, with a bid opening date projected to be 11 Sep 95. This acquisition is unrestricted. There is a $43.00 non-refundable charge for each bid set. Payment in the form of a company check, certified cashier's check, or U.S. Postal money order made payable to the ``Department of the Air Force'' must accompany each request.
