Sutton, Contracting Officer at (505) 678-3338. The solicitation sets forth requirements for Repair/Replace of Water Lines at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, plant and equipment to construct water lines and appurtenances at various locations on WSMR and outlying sites. All work will be done in accordance with drawings and specifications. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, repair/replace of WSMR water lines. The anticipated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement is being issued unrestricted pursuant to Deviation Control No. 95-DEV-04. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. A Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated. Period of performance will be one year from date of award. Exact project completion time will be specified in each delivery order. It is anticipated that the IFB will be issued on or about 11 Aug 1995 with an estimated closing date of 11 Sep 1995. A site visit has been established for 17 July 1995 beginning at 9:00 AM. Any failure by the contractor to acquaint himself with the available information will not relieve him from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work.
