Martinez, Contracting Officer, (210)298-5115 The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and services necessary to upgrade sewage lagoons to comply with environmental regulations. This projectincludes installing under ground pipe, manholes, and control/ diversion boxes. In addition, compacting, embankments, lagoon pumping and parching of pavements will be required. All other construction as it appears in the constructiondocuments is also included in this project. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on theproject as a prime contractor as early as possiblebut no later than 15 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economicallydisadvantaged business concern, evidence ofcapacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submittedwith references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested businessconcerns as well asfrom SDB concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 14 AUG 95. Approximate deadline for receipt of proposals is 13 SEP 95. The applicable small business size standard for interested small businessconcerns, including their affiliates, is not more than $13.5 million in average annual receipts for the preceeding three years.
