Furnish and install a 30 foot free standing galvanized steel tower (Microfleet Co., Inc., Model #156M830-30M, or approved equal). Tower to be erected on appropriate concrete foundation per contract documents. Work includes installing all necessary lightning protection to tower and installing new government furnished communication antennas. Work also includes demolition and removal of existing timber antenna platform and site restoration. Job location is Federal Aviation Administration Sector Office, OTIS Air National Guard Base, Falmouth, MA. A $20.00 charge (checks or money order payable to the Federal Aviation Administration) is required for the bid package. Requests for bid packages will be honored until the supply is exhausted. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
