S. Coast Guard Station Grand Isle, Louisiana. The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an elevated wood frame building structure supported on wood piles with stucco exterior wall finish and metal roof, site utilities, and bituminous paving. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 08- L4104 and Drawing No. 08-L4104. All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Plans (half- size), specifications, and all necessary bid documents will be available approximately 14 August 1995 and may be obtained by submitting a check in the amount of $15.00 per set (non- refundable) made payable to the U. The solicitation is unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
