99 -- LINEN CHUTES DUE 083095 POC Contracting Officer, Sharon Leszczynski, (412)477-5052 This VA Medical Center has a requirement for six (6) linen chute intake doors and frames 18'' x 18'' right hand side hinged for 180 degree opening, hand operated, self closing, 22 guage stainless steel door with angle frame assembly, B label, 1-1/2 hr 250 degree, 30 minute temperature rise. Must have cylinder locking system for Best, or equal, removable core system. Must provide electric interlock mechanism designed to permit only one door to open at a time. Electric interlocks designed to make it physically impossible to accidently trip the interlock mechanism by human error. Must comply with industry standards NFPA #82 for required fire rating per E-152 Fire Endurance Test. Vendor must furnish one door and frame assembly onsite for VA approval prior to purchase. This agency wants to determine if there are any interested and capable vendors to fulfill this requirement.
