The work consists of demolishing the existing modified bitumen roof on the high by portion of building 300 down to the lightweight concrete deck (elevation is 70 feet). Up to 50 square feet of the concrete deck shall be repaired as required. A new ventilation base sheet, followed by a recovery board and 3-sheet modified bitumen system shall then be hot mopped installed on the existing concrete deck. Also included in the work shall be the replacement of existing flashing, guttters and downspouts. Estimated construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Item 10, bid opening date, is an approximate date only. The propsed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Code 051C of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 28 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude.
