USPFO for Tennessee has a requirement to provide a spilled petroleum product absorbent recovery service at an estimated 31 locations in Tennessee plus Tunnel Hill, GA. Contract period is from 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. Contractor to be licensed and bonded to meet all Federal, State, and Local Regulatory requirements for the purpose of transporting and disposing of absorbent material contaminated with used motor oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, gear oil, antifreeze and/or any other non-hazardous fluid associated with vehicle maintenance. Contractor to provide burnable absorbent material and appropriate containers for new and used absorbent. Contractor to pick up the used absorbent material on a scheduled or on call basis as required. The preferred method of disposal for the absorbent material is burning as fuel or by incineration. The solicitation will be available on 28 July 1995.
