Friedman, 317/688-2825. A/E Open End and Title I and II and other A/E
Services at Grissom ARB, IN to include the design, plans, drawings,
cost estimates, and specifications to execute a broad variety of
maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects. Other A/E
services may include fact-finding studies, surveys, investigations,
interior designs, developing design criteria, preparing base
comprehensive plans (BCP) and other professional A/E services not
necessarily connected with a specific construction project. An
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract will be issued for a
period of one year (approximate starting date 1 Feb 96) and will
include a one year option period. Projects will be issued by delivery
orders. Delivery orders will not exceed $299,000 with the exception of
the initial order to start the contract. This order may exceed
$299,000, but can be no more than the maximum limitation of the
contract which is $750,000 per year. The firm selected is guaranteed a
minimum of $5,000 in fees for A/E services. Typical work includes, but
is not limited to: (1) Utility distribution systems to include:
electricity, gas, and water control and distribution systems. (2)
Lighting projects; airfield, parking lots, interior and exterior
systems. (3) Petroleum storage, pumping and distribution systems (4)
Aircraft maintenance hangars and facilities. (5) Heating and air
conditioning systems. (6) Fire detection, control and alarm systems.
(7) All roofing systems. (8) Dining hall facilities. (9) Recreational
facilities. (10) Structural systems. (11) Communication systems. Firms
desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined and should include:
Architects, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical
Engineers, Structural Engineers, land surveyors, and CADD operators.
Funding for these projects may be appropriated by Congress, grants by
Congress or other funds sources. The criteria which will be the basis
for selecting firms are: (1) Experience. The exerience of the firm in
the types of work required. (2) Professional qualifications.
Qualifications of personnel including experience, education,
professional registrations and certifications. (3) Professional
capacity. Resources of the firm to accomplish work in a timely manner.
(4) Past performance. Performance on past government and
non-government projects. (5) Location. Location relative to Grissom ARB
of key personnel. (6) Volume of work. Volume of previously awarded DoD
contracts. Firms desiring consideration will submit a properly
executed SF 254/255 and appropriate data. Appropriate data in response
to this notice must be submitted within thirty (30) days after
publication of this notice to Warrell Law, 434 LSS/LGC, Bldg 2, Room
209, Grissom ARB, IN 46971-5320. The proposed contract listed here is
