This modification includes the labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary for the procurement, design, fabrication, shipping, installation, and test inspection of a new 10 ton hoist and trolley, a new radio control system, complete bridge mechanical drive system, complete trolley and bridge electrification system, trolley bumpers and stops, and footwalk and bridge rails. The existing Conco crane has been completely removed with the exception of the bridge girders and end trucks. The contract supplier would be responsible for providing and installing of all required mechanical and electronic parts needed to support the operation of the crane system. 1. All prospective bidder personnel should have U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearances to attend the on-site pre-bid tour. Uncleared personnel will be escorted to tour areas where work will be performed, except those areas determined to be sensitive by Westinghouse. Attendance at such feelings is essential for proper understanding of unique ingress/egress procedure and complex site conditions. Also, all personnel who will be performing on-site work requires a DOE security clearance. It takes approximately two to three months to obtain a security clearance after an individual submits a completed and acceptance ``Questionnaire for Sensitive Position'' (QSP). In this regard, in order for your company to receive a copy of the RFQ package, completed QSPs must be submitted to Westinghouse within two weeks from the date of your request for a copy of the RFQ package. Westinghouse shall process clearances at no cost to the contractor; however, the effort to complete and submit QSPs is solely at the contractor's expense. 2. Prospective bidders must agree to submit a current Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence Certification and all necessary supporting business and financial documentation, if requested by Westinghouse. Request for the RFQ along with the necessary documentation clearly showing your firm meets the above minimum prerequisites, must be in writing (telephone requests will not be honored), and your letter must be postmarked no later than than fifteen calendar days after the date of this CBD publication. The contract for the above detailed workscope will be firm fixed-price. (205)
