Replace Halon system at bldg. 1974 to include adding a new 150,000 gallon water storage tank, pumps and piping, a new 8'' fire main piping to several buildings. Remove Halon in bldg. 1974 and replace with fire sprinkler system and upgrade existing fire alarm system. Remove existing Halon system from bldg. 1978 and replace with fire sprinkler system and upgrade fire alarm system. At bldg. 1987, add a new 150,000 gallon fire water storage tank, pumps and piping; replace existing diesel fired generator with a new propane generator. Upgrade fire alarm system and provide fire sprinklers throughout the building. The magnitude of this project is between $1M and $5M. This acquisition is unrestricted. This procurement is contingent upon funds becoming available prior to award. The estimated period of performance is 330 calendar days. A $64.30 non-refundable fee will be required with the written request for the solicitation package. Only certified or cashiers checks made payable to DAO-DE Vandenberg AFB will be accepted, no personal checks. All correspondence should identify the bid number.
