The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to provide miscellaneous structural repairs to various buildings at NAVSTA, Mayport, Florida. This work includes wood and steel door and jamb replacements; some door hardware replacement; carpet replacement; vinyl floor tile and vinyl base replace; and some sheetrock work and painting. Window replacement and overhead roll-up door replacement is required also. The cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on 09/19/95. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 08/16/95. Contract duration is 120 calendar days. The procurement listed herein is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office listed above evidence of capability to perform, including performance and credit references, former contracts of similar size and complexity, bonding capability and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior contract, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
