above address or FAX to (904) 234-4760. Construction of a 350 SF public
laundry area adjoining building 327. The laundry room shall hose four
washer/dryers, a sink, gas heater, and ventilatonsystems. Workshall
include minor demolition, new concreting, CMU, GWB, carpentry, roofing,
flooring, painting along with incidental related work. Utilities shall
include tie-ins along with supporting plumbing and electrical systems.
Exisiting exterior finish contains lead paint whih are to be addressed
per applicable Fedeal, State, and CSS Regulations, Codes and
Requirements. Exterior work and finishes shall match existing building
327. Estimated construciton cost range is between $25,000 and
$100,000. Item 10, bid opening date, is an approximate date only. The
proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100%
Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested
SDB concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Code 051C of
their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as
possible, but not later than 28 July 1995. This notificaton must
include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and
economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to
obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the
capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude.
Complete information concerning management experience in similar work
and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate
interest is not received for SDB concerns, the Solicitation will be
issued on an unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued
indicating set-aside decision. Therefore replies to this office are
requested from all interested business concerns as well as small
