Egnor, (803)577-5011x7212 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina would like to contract for reference laboratory testing for specimen testing not completed by the VA and specimen collection services for veteran patients in the area, but not limited to the following counties of South Carolina; Dillon, Orangeburg, Charleston, Horry, Dorchester, Florence, Colleton, Williamsburg, Berkeley, Hampton, Georgetwon, Jasper, Beaufort, Allendale and Darlington. The laboratory awarded this contract will supply all needles, tubes, containers, transport of containers, etc. for proper preservation of samples to be processed by the VA and all reference testing service for tests not processed by the VA. They will supply the phlebotomist for the collection of the samples and supply courier service within 24 hours from collection site to the VA Medical Center. The Lab is to have a current CAP, JCAHO, and CLIA accreditation. It is expected there will be a one year contract awarded. The goal is to have veteran patients report to a location near their home to have VA ordered laboratory samples collected, prepared and transported to the Medical Center for testing in advance of the patients appointment. Contractor is to provide reference test analysis services to include pick-up service, detailed reports, report forms, telecommunications equipment, dedicated telephone lines and all other requirements specified. Services will be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation and will be for the Medical Center located in Charleston, SC and the Outpatient Clinic located in Savannah, GA.
