The project will require field investigation, working drawings and specifications, construction period services, estimates and certain other items. Project will construct a fully operational building (approximately 7000 sf) which shall adjoin the existing 200 bed domiciliary, building 148. Using VA space planning criteria and VA design criteria, the A/E shall layout the area to effectively and efficiently utilize the newly designed space. Estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Selection criteria shall include: (1) experience in type of work required; (2) professional qualifications and experience of staff to be assigned; (3) ability to accomplish work within required time frames; (4) past performances as related to quality of work, meeting schedules, and keeping within scope; (5) area of consideration limited to 100 mile radius of the Medical Center.
