Weaver, (804)728-3114 The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking
Engineering design services required for Project 590-204, Construct
Domiciliary Treatment Pod at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center,
Hampton, Virginia. The project will require field investigation,
working drawings and specifications, construction period services,
estimates and certain other items. Project will construct a fully
operational building (approximately 7000 sf) which shall adjoin the
existing 200 bed domiciliary, building 148. Using VA space planning
criteria and VA design criteria, the A/E shall layout the area to
effectively and efficiently utilize the newly designed space. Estimated
cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Selection
criteria shall include: (1) experience in type of work required; (2)
professional qualifications and experience of staff to be assigned; (3)
ability to accomplish work within required time frames; (4) past
performances as related to quality of work, meeting schedules, and
keeping within scope; (5) area of consideration limited to 100 mile
radius of the Medical Center. Submit two (2) copies each of SF 254 and
SF 255 with appropriate data as described in numbered Note 24 to:

Hampton, Virginia 23667 by close of business, 4:30 p.m. local time,
