The material is aluminum alloy per MIL-A-21180 Alloy A356.0 Class 11 (eleven). The casting is approximatel 6'' x 7 1/2'' x 13'' high and has various machined surfaces, holes and bores. The contractor will be required to furnish data in accordance with the Contractor Data Requirements List (First Article test procedure and test/inspection reports and Production test procedure and test/inspection reports and Casting test reports). The contractor will be required to submit a First Article Test Sample (Contractor Testing). The First Article testing requirement may be waived for offerors who have previously manufactured the same or similar items. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer, NAVSURFWARCEN ORDSTA Louisville, KY 40214-5000. Delivery is required as follows: (a) with F/A - the first article is required within 150 days after date of contract with the production quantity required 240 days after date of contract: (b) without F/A - the production quantity is required within 180 days after date of contract award.
