to systems presently installed and for new systems. All systems must be
NTSC format and meet the following ITU (CCITT) standards: H.320, and
T.120, and be capable of operation over switched or leased lines at
112KBps, 384KBps and above. Additionally, the products offered must be
be available off-the-shelf as of 1 October 95 on the commercial
market. The Air Force is also seeking information on communications
products needed to connect the above systems such as inverse

and peripheral equipment such as document cameras. Installation,
extended warranty, and maintenance services for the above systems and
components should also be identified. Interested parties should

vendor offerings: Compression Labs, Inc.(CLI), PictureTel,Inc., and
Vtel,Inc.. Available interfaces such as V.35, 422, etc. should be
identified as well as the method of implementation (standard or
proprietary product). Interested parties may submit their commercial
product description and technical specification brochures which provide
nomenclature and commercial part numbers for the complete range of
systems to include a standard parts list plus system components and
options which can be ordered separately. Product descriptions and
technical specifications must provide information to include: monitor
sizes, connectivity requirements and options, encasement and mobility
options, environmental and power requirements (minimum and maximum),
and acceptable range of operation. Submittals should also show any
other requirements for operating the equipment not readily apparent
from the product description and specification (e.g. special circuitry,
special handling, or other components needed such as computer platforms
and capacity requirements). Submittals must include information which
supports any claim of full interoperability using both H.320 and T.120
standards and be multi-vendor compatible. Interested parties must
indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, or
women-owned concern and specify a point of contact with telephone
