The proposed contract will provide for the furnishing of two Contract Field Service (CFS) On-Call Duty engineers qualified to troubleshoot, repair, align, and analyze the Engineering Control System of the DD 963, DD 993, and CG 47 Class Naval vessels. The contract will also provide for design, development, testing and installation of Engineering Control Systems modications, upgrades, ECPs, etc. Other technical services include: configuration management support of the equipments, training, routine maintenance function. Materials such as Spare and Repair parts will be supported through this contract. This is a sole source follow-on procurement to Contract N65540-94-C-0039 with Litton Systems, Inc., Guidance and Control Systems Division of Woodland Hills, CA, which holds proprietary information on these systems.
