NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue RFQ5-38762/980 on a sole source basis to Pulse Technology, Inc., 1341 Canton Road, Suite E, Marietta, GA 30066, for the acquisition of a completed radar transmitter and receiver to include power distribution integration and test, rf integration, and system checkout. Pulse Technology designed and fabricated a millimeter-wave pulsed-doppler radar under a Phase II small business and innovative research contract. The technology development by Pulse Technology under the Phase II SBIR contract makes Pulse Technology uniquely qualified to complete and deliver the millimeter-wave radar system. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information, and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the above address. The response shall be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet these requirements. This procurement will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures, and is reserved for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3674, with a small business size classification of 500. Quotations received from a Small Business will be considered.
