The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to conduct a financial audit of the Corporation, for the period October 1, 1994 through September 30, 1995. RFP to include option to renew contract for a second and third year. The following will be required: Opinion on the Corporation's financial statements; Report on internal accounting controls; Report on compliance with laws and regulations; and a Management Letter. The audit shall be accomplished in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards, issued by the comptroller General of the United States. This work is to be completed by February 29, 1996. The RFP package will be released approximately August 9, 1995 and the RFP's deadline for receipt of proposals shall be approximately September 11, 1995.
