L -- TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE SERVICES FOR COMBAT SYSTEMS ENGINEERING FOR DIGITAL COMPUTER BASED SHIPBOARD COMBAT SYSTEMS SOL N00024-90-C-5615 POC Mary Keyser, Contract Specialist, 703-602-7904. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a bridge (modification) to Contract N00024-90-C-5615 with Syscon Services, Inc., 1000 Thomas Jefferson St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20007, which will increase the ceiling for Technical Man-Days by 37,850. The proposed acquisition will be for a base increase of 18,925 Man-Days and will include two options that will increase the ceiling by 9,462 Technical Man-Days each. The increased level of effort will allow for the continuance of support for ship design/integration engineering and resulting ship design concrete end products and technical documentation for digital computer based shipboard combat systems. Syscon Services, Inc. is currently performing similar services and is the only source who can provide continuous support during the period between expiration of the contract and award of the follow-on effort. The continuity of these services vital. Therefore, Syscon Services, Inc. is the only source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise necessary to satisfy this requirement in a timely and cost effective manner.
