This project consists of furnishing all manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to Remove Architectural Barriers that includes removal and replacement of electric power operated doors and modification of aluminum and glass window wall at the main entrance at the Processing and Distribution Center, 1165 Second Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. The work includes remodeling of Lobby casework and equipment, remodeling of toilet rooms, removal and replacement of electric water coolers, adjustment and replacement of hardware at existing interior and exterior doors, new hollow metal doors and frames, removal, regrading, and replacement of concrete paving, bituminous paving, and concrete walks and curbs, removal and replacement of exterior concrete ramp, regrading and new sod at lawns. A pre proposal conference is scheduled for August 1, 1995, at 1:30 P.M. in Room 305 at the address listed above.
