The work of this project includes removal of existing wood shingle roofing and installation of new wood shingle roof at all locations of existing wood shingle roof; removal of wood shingle siding at dormers and replacement with new wood shingles; selective demolition and replacement of areas of deteriorated decking as required at all replaced roofs; removal and replacement of roof; selective demolition and replacement of existing deteriorated metal gutter liner; selective removal of deteriorated flat seam roofing with patching/repair with new metal; scraping of loose and flaking paint from existing flashing and flat seam in preparation for repainting; scraping of paint from existing flashing and flat seam in preparation for coating with fluid applied membrane roofing system; selective removal of deteriorated brick units for replacement and repair at brick chimneys; removal of existing metal chimney caps and installation of new metal caps at chimneys; and temporary removal of lighting rods, ground cables and insulators and reattachment after installation of new roof and after repair of chimneys. The estimated construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all size firms. This solicitation is a 100% labor surplus area set-aside.
