Aurora, CO 80011-9551 Z -- SOLICITATION NOTICE. REPAIR GROUNDING AND ELECTRICAL PHASE 1. SOL
DAHA05-95-B-0009. Contact, Char Woods, Contract Administrator,
303/340-9978,or Mr. Dave Cole, Contracting officer, 303/340-9945. This
project consists of modifications to electrical power and grounding
systems for multiple buildings; A. Exterior work to grounding, lighting
protection, and interior grounding work in buildingd 430, 432, 433,
434, and 435. Includes installation of main ground bars and rework of
the existing Single Earth Ground Point in building 430. B. Interior
distribution work and grounding which is not included in Item A for
buildings 432, 433, and 434. C. Interior work by adding new main
breaker to existing switchgear in building 433. Rework the existing
bus, relay and control wiring. Furnish the labor, materials, tools,
equipment, quality control, supervision and services necessary for or
incidental to the installation and use of materials, systems and
accessories for this project. Estimated performance time is 12 months.
The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and
$1,000,000. The estimated completion date is October 96. It is
anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a
result of this solicitation. Solicitation will be available
approximately 17 July 95. Solicitation package will be limited to one
set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first served basis as
the number of copies limited. Copies will be available in various Plans
Rooms throughout Colorado. The site visit will be held approximately 28
August 1995, in a secure area. All attendees must provide the following

Aurora, Colorado. The Small Business size standard for this
solicitation is one where the average annual receipts of the concern
and its affiliates for the previous three (3) fiscal years does not
exceed $7,000,000. annually. The proposed solicitation herein is being
considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business
concerns (SDB). To assist the Contracting Officer in reaching a
set-aside decision the following information will be provided by
prospective bidders. Interested concerns should as early as possible,
but not later than seven (7) calendar days after publication of this
notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor
on the project, evidence of capability to perform including references
for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, and phone
numbers, and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a
small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In
addition, dollar amount of current construction bonding capability is
required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received
to make a decision to issue this solicitation as a set-aside for Small
Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further
notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all
interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must
indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business,
small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). Requests for bid documents must
be in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The return
