The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a sole-source contract to Ameritech to provide Local Voice Service for the Public Branch Exchange (PBX) located at the computing center in Detroit Michigan. The period of performance will be from October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. The basic requirements are: DIRECT INWARD DAILING (did) TRUNKS, DID NUMBERS, DID TRUNK TERMINATION, DIRECT OUTWARD DIALING (dod) TRUNKS, TOUCH TONE SERVICE, END USER LINE CHARGE, AND T1 FACILITIES. Ameritech is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required service as set forth in 41 U.S.C. (253(c)(1)). Only one source available. See Note 22. (0195)
