The upgrade of these assets to the Sweep IV configuration of fielded U.S. units is necessary in order to provide seed assets for the Radar Enhancement Phase III, Classification, Discrimination and Identification (CDI III) modification program. Also there is a requirement to upgrade one (1) Enhancement Control Station (ECS) and one (1) Information and Coordination Central (ICC) to support the testing program.
