This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, travel and performance of operation to upgrade the HVAC system in Bldg 1612, Hanscom AFB MA. The principle items of work include but are not limited to: Upgrade the cooling plant system, replace existing hot water pumps, replace steam converter tube bundle, replace all existing VAV terminal units, upgrade low/medium pressure supply/return air ductwork, replace existing pneumatic automatic temperature controls with new Johnson Controls direct digital (DDC) automatic temperature controls, modify air handling units and return air fans, and any other electrical and architectural related work. There is a basic bid with options. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Period of Performance will be 273 days.
