R -- PRE RELEASE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE NASA-WIDE COST PE R COPY REQUIREMENT SOL RFP5-DRAFT242 POC Karen M. Smith, Contract Specialist, (301) 286-2384. A draft copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the NASA-wide Cost Per Copy Procurement will be released for industry comment in early to mid-August. This procurement is for electrostatic and digital copiers; supplies and toner; service; maintenance; and training which will be provided to 15 NASA Installations throughout the United States. The resulting contract will be a fixed price performance based contract with incentive fee. The draft RFP will contain the contract schedule, the statement of work, the performance metrics, cost charts, and Sections K, L, and M, including the experience and past performance questionnaire. This procurement will be full and open competition with aggressive small business and small disadvantaged subcontracting goals. The final RFP will be released around October 1, 1995. There will be approximately 30 days allotted for submission of comments to the draft RFP. If you have previously requested information concerning this procurement you do not need to submit another request for a copy of the draft RFP. Please submit all requests to Ms. Karen M.
