Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform
dockside repairs including but not limited to the following minimum
items: (1) renew door, hatches & scuttles (2) clean and inspect ship
service generators (3) relocate aft shore tie receptacles (4) preserve
fan space and renew ventilation ducting (5) overhaul ventilation fan
motors (6) clean and inspect air conditioning chillers (7) inspect &
test air receivers (8) overhaul and weight test articulating crane (9)
overhaul hangar drive system (10) overhaul mooring capstan (11)
temporary logistics (12) install spool piece and butterfy valve for
ballast system (13) modify small arms magazine drain and vent (14)
reconfigure small arms magazine etc. Indefinite items include but are
not limited to the following: (1) welding repairs (2) stud renewal (3)
ultrasonic testing (4) additional temporary logistics etc. Vessel's
homeport is Portsmouth, VA. The place of performance is restricted to
USCGC Support Center, Portsmouth, VA. Vessel availability schedule is
04 Sec 95 for 49 days. Vessel length is 270 foot A Class Medium
Endurance Cutter. Specifications will be issued on or after 28 Jul
1995. All referenced documents are available for viewing at building
400N, Governors Island, NY. A charge of $100.00 is required in the form
of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast
Guard for requested drawings. Plans and specifications will be issued
on or after 28 Jul 95. All responsible sources may subit a bid which
shall be considered by The United States Coast Guard. For Minority,

to apply for bid, perforance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
