Scarborough, (301) 443-4420 The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
intends to award a purchase order for a luminometer and microplate
heaters. Microplates required to set at 53 degrees C and 63 degrees C
to maintain +/- 0.5 degrees C, compatible with aluminum 96-well
(4.315''x2.905''x0.28'') to heat bottom and top of microplate holder,
display real-time temperature for upper and lower heating surfaces, and
accept clamping pressure to prevent drying of micro wells. Luminometer
must have 96-well microplate reading capability compatible with
aluminum 96-well microplate holder and maintains internal incubation
temperature of 37 degrees C +/-2.5 degrees C, compatible with glow
kinetic reactions, external software capable of reducing luminescent
counts and interpolating counts into equivalents per unit of measure
specific for each, photo multiplier tube must seal each microwell at
top prior to reading, level of well to well cross-talk must not exceed
1 part in 20,000, contains factory calibrated light source at preset
light level regardless of time or temperature, perform a calibration
test procedure whereby photo multiplier tube is positioned over a light
source and calibration test value is generated. Value must be
electronically compared to factory set level and procedure capability
prior to reading a microplate. Written quotations required by COB
