The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, is soliciting proposals for a firm-fixed price contract to manufacture six (6) nondevelopmental seamless pressure vessels constructed in accordance with MIL-F-22606C to be used as high pressure air flasks with an option for an additional nine (9) flasks. These high pressure air flasks will be a component in a U.S. Navy certified hyperbaric life support system. The air flasks must be constructed as follows: (a) 9.2 cubic feet floodable volume, Class 3000, Type GF Service A; (b) Eighteen (18) inch outside diameter x .561 inch minimum wall thickness x 7.3 feet long; (c) Fittings: 3/8 inch NPS T-plug fitting with dip tube assembly (per Figure 7 of MIL-F-22606C) with O-ring seal. A blind plug seal welded in accordance with Figure 13 of M IL-F-22606C is required on the opposite end; and (d) Outside and inside diameters (OD and ID) must be shot blasted.
