Z -- REPLACE HVAC SYSTEM AT THE RUBBER SHOP, BUILDING 101, NAVAL AIR STATION, JACKSONVILLE, FL Contract N62467-94-B-2618. POC OICC Office. This is a presolicitation notice only. Do not request plans now. A solicitation notice will be published before invitations are issued. The work includes removal of existing split system D/X air conditioning system (approx. 60 ton) from the rubber shop in Building 101. The current system consists of a fan and coils located in a mezzanine level mechanical room, two compressors located on a first floor mechanical/electrial room and two evaporative cooled condenser, located on grade. Access to the mezzanine room will require removal and replacement of a section of roof. The system will be replaced with a new fan cooled liquid chiller located at ground level and a new airhandler with chilled water and steam coils located in mezzanine mechanical room. New electrical feeders and controls will be required for temperature controls. The project will also include incidental related work. Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 7/95, open bids 9/95, complete contract 5/96. Estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. (191)
