Z -- REPLACE WINDOWS, BLDG. 30 SOL IFB 620-17-95 DUE 082995 POC Contact Point, Terry Clayton, (914)737-4400x2077, Contracting Officer, Karen Diehl, (914)737-4400x2072 The contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operatins, including demolition and removal of existing structures and furnish labor, supervision, materials and rental equipment, including dumpsters as necessary to provide and install replacement windows as required by drawings and specifications for Project 620-96-112, Replace Windows, Building 30 at the Department of Veterans Affairs FDR VA Hospital, Montrose, NY. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Performance of all demolition work required for removal of existing steel grills, insect and detention screens, steel, wood or aluminum frames and sashes and all that is required to prepare the openings for installation of rplacement windows. Remove and reinstall all existinglintels, air conditioners, vents, grills, etc. Windows with existing accessories and equipment shall have accessories remounted into replacement window, the Contractor shall supply new mounting hardware and new panels for these items. The Contractor shall also supply same size inserts, glazed as bottom sash, for use as replacement units when accessory or equipment is removed. Estimated construction range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Issue date is on or about 7/24/95. bod is 8/29/95. Plans and specifications will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
